Ashley works both sides of
the table.
Ashley M. Cowles is an actor, writer, and director based in New York.
Ashley studied at the Juilliard School, New York University, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, where she acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting.
As a writer and director, Ashley’s work aims to educate by means of storytelling. Her latest work, a full-length historical drama, earned critical acclaim and six BroadwayWorld Off-Broadway Award nominations.
Ashley brings her dual perspective to every project: with an actor’s insight and a keen directorial eye, she approaches each story from both angles.
